are you afraid of the dark?

This post could mean nothing whatsoever to some of you. What I am about to tell you is what I experienced very early this morning, around 4 a.m. It is up to you to believe it or not, but do remember, there are other beings out there besides us in this world, other beings that can't be seen by the naked eye.

I was sleeping alone at that time. I was dreaming as well. I could not recall the dream but it was a normal one, with my family in it. Suddenly, I woke up with a start. I was kinda disoriented, trying to figure out why I woke up so suddenly. Without warning, something came over me and darkness reigned. I could not move, I could hardly breathe, I could not even utter a word to save myself. I panicked. Then, came this eerie laughter, banshee-like (in Malay, the accurate word would be mengilai). I panicked even more. I could not think straight. I was scared to death. I could not even recall any holy verses.

After about 2 minutes of struggling, everything was over. But the laughter remained (in my head, perhaps). I sat still in my bed as I tried to comprehend just what had happened. I was shaking and trembling all over. It was damn scary! Fortunately, somebody was there to soothe me. Thanks very much to you, Kimi. You really helped. I really appreciate your help and words. Thanks, Kimi.

I went to sleep after Subuh, feeling much better. When I woke up, though, there were bluish marks on my chest and my neck. A bite mark was also visible somewhere on my neck, near the shoulder. It wasn't a dream then. I was actually hoping that it was all a nightmare. No such luck.

So, what do you think?

Words could heal... or it could hurt or maybe, it won't bring any difference. Either way, just type away!
